Ty Newydd self catering holiday cottage is tucked away on the lower slope of the Great Orme, yet within walking distance of Llandudno town centre, promenade and West shore. With lovely views of Snowdonia mountain range. Close to the Orme tramway, taking people to the summit, with its ancient copper mines, wild goats and other wildlife and bracing walks offering magnificent views over the sea in all directions. Ty Newydd cottage, a grade 1 listed building, has two bedrooms one double with en-suite shower and toilet and one twin bedded room. Ground floor bathroom with over bath shower, kitchen, dining room with living flame gas fire and cosy lounge with log burner. Facilities include full central heating, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, digital TV with freeview. Outside there is a lawned front garden with patio area from which you can sit and watch the trams commence their journey to the summit of the Great Orme. There is also parking for one small car although own transport is not necessary as Llandudno has a railway station and buses to the surrounding areas. For those that enjoy walking there are numerous walks accessible from the cottage. There is also a new walk/cycle track from the West Shore past the new Deganwy Quay Hotel and Spa development leading directly into Conway with its many attractions. The cottage is just a short walk away from everything Llandudno has to offer Restaurants, coffee and tea shops, theatre, pier, promenade, beach, swimming baths (new in 2008), dry ski slope and the shopping centre with a wide selection of top name stores M & S, BHS, Next, Monsoon, River Island etc. The award winning Fish & Chip shop and the King�s Head pub (oldest in Llandudno) with its welcoming log fire being close by.
